Independent research / evidence before allegiance

Power leaves
a paper trail.

NKNW.INFO examines who can set the terms, move the money, shape the public story, and make exit expensive.

The aim is not revelation. It is a record that separates document from inference, mechanism from motive, and suspicion from proof.

Core proposition

Why this exists

The line between power and domination

Power becomes domination when it can close the exits.

Domination is durable, asymmetric power exercised without meaningful consent, contestation, or exit.

We publish because freedom requires more than permission: people need the practical capacity to understand, oppose, change, or leave the rules that govern them. We trace the contracts, institutions, infrastructures, and dependencies that determine whether those capacities are real.

The record

A history of recurring leverage

Different systems. Familiar questions.

1905–1941

NKNW-C015 / Dominican Republic / United States

The Dominican customs receivership

A US-appointed receivership collected Dominican customs revenue for debt service and constrained changes to public debt and import duties under the 1907 convention.

Supported

1910–1913

NKNW-C018 / United States

Jekyll Island and Federal Reserve origin claims

The 1910 Jekyll Island meeting was secret and influenced the Aldrich reform proposal; that fact does not by itself establish the claim that private bankers own or secretly command the later Federal Reserve System.

Disputed

1930–today

NKNW-C023 / International

What the BIS is—and is not

The BIS was created to administer settlements and foster central-bank cooperation; its documented institutional role does not establish popular claims of a secret private authority commanding national governments.

Disputed

1971–1973

NKNW-C041 / United States / international

The end of dollar-gold convertibility

The United States unilaterally suspended official dollar convertibility into gold, helping end Bretton Woods fixed exchange rates and shift the monetary system toward fiat currencies and floating rates.

Supported

2013–2018

NKNW-C069 / United States / United Kingdom / Facebook ecosystem

Cambridge Analytica and political profiling

Regulatory findings establish deceptive harvesting of Facebook data for profiling and targeting; claims about decisive election effects require separate causal evidence.

Supported

2022–today

NKNW-C071 / Russia / G7 / European Union / global reserve system

Sovereign reserves as a sanctions chokepoint

The immobilisation of Russian central-bank reserves demonstrated that foreign reserve access depends on legal jurisdictions and financial infrastructure controlled by other states.

Method

The discipline of doubt

A claim is not a conclusion.

01 / Policy text

What did an agreement, law, order, or programme formally require?

02 / Implementation

What did institutions, firms, and governments actually do?

03 / Outcome

What changed, for whom, over what period, and against what baseline?

04 / Attribution

What evidence connects the intervention to the observed result?

Missing records lower confidence. They do not license invention.

The editorial position

No institution is above scrutiny. Neither are we.

We are anti-authoritarian, not anti-evidence. We do not ask readers to trust a party, a personality, or a hidden explanation. We ask whether a claim survives the record.
