About the publication

Independent of parties. Not neutral about domination.

We investigate the systems that make people, institutions, and societies easier to direct—and harder to leave.

We do not ask for loyalty. Every claim, method, omission, and conclusion remains open to challenge.

Examine publicly.

Dossiers, mechanisms, source records, counterarguments, corrections, and explicit limits on what the evidence can establish.

02 / The position

No party line. No purity test. No immunity from evidence.

Power deserves scrutiny whether it belongs to a state, corporation, creditor, military, platform, movement, or institution that claims to act on our behalf. Scrutiny is not the presumption that every institution is evil or every official account false.

We reject political violence, personality cults, ideological obedience, and the transformation of uncertainty into accusation. We defend human autonomy, peaceful cooperation, private communication, open technology, and systems people can inspect, question, change, or leave.

03 / What we defend

Freedom has institutional requirements.

Comprehensible rules
People must be able to discover which rules govern a decision and who can change them.
Private space
Thought, association, and communication need places not continuously exposed to observation or profiling.
Voice and contestation
Those affected need meaningful ways to object, organise, appeal, and alter a decision.
Real alternatives
Exit is meaningful only when switching is practical, data is portable, and alternatives are not punished into irrelevance.
Reversible authority
Emergency and delegated powers need limits, review, expiry, and a route back.
Peaceful self-organisation
People should be able to cooperate without waiting for permission from a state, platform, party, or patron.

04 / Editorial commitments

  1. 01

    Evidence before identity

A source is not accepted or rejected because it helps a political tribe.

  2. 02

    Mechanism before spectacle

Named rules, contracts, transactions, and decisions matter more than villain imagery.

  3. 03

    Counter-evidence before certainty

The strongest credible alternative belongs beside the preferred interpretation.

  4. 04

    Correction before reputation

A public correction protects the record more than defending an old conclusion.

05 / The site itself

A publication should not contradict its argument.

  • No advertising or behavioural analytics.
  • No external fonts, trackers, icon libraries, or social embeds.
  • No account required to read the public record.
  • No decorative AI imagery or synthetic authority.
  • React is used for navigation and research filtering; the production output is static.
  • Only publication-approved fields are compiled into the site; internal notes, paths, hashes, and raw data are excluded.

06 / Contact

Challenge the record directly.

Send corrections, source leads, objections, or questions by XMPP. There is no contact form, social-media inbox, or requirement to attach a public identity.

XMPP is a contact route, not a guarantee of anonymity. Server operators may see connection metadata. Establish and verify end-to-end encryption before sending sensitive material; a pseudonym alone does not protect the surrounding metadata.
